Cindy is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. She studied under Akasha Ellis, focusing on the following yoga practices: Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Vinyasa Krama. 

A woman who finds "my solace and my balance on my yoga mat," Cindy designs and teaches yoga classes for people of various ages and abilities, including clients at ACED. 

"Moving the body, building strength, and feeling the breath through yoga, one can find a new love and respect for their body," Cindy said, adding how important this practice is for women and men struggling to recover from an eating disorder. 

Off the mat, Cindy finds joy in her family: an amazing cook she's blessed to call her husband, and three daughters from whom "I have learned more than anyone else in the world," she says.
