Amory graduated with a master’s in social work from the University of Alabama Birmingham. She also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Nutrition.  She has been a part of the ACED family since she was and practicum student in her Master’s program and  joined our team officially as a Primary therapist upon her graduation.

Amory is a genuinely passionate, patient soul who brings compassion and kindness to her role as therapist. She is an attentive, active listener providing a safe space for clients to explore who they are beyond their eating disorder and identify their true selves.

She came into the counseling field honesty sharing her passion of social work with both her parents, still active in the field today. She has an uncontrollable plant obsession, finds true joy in animals and loves to cook.

Her idea of a perfect Saturday includes a hot cup of coffee, a gentle breeze and her cat curled up next to her.

I want to be the kind of therapist who holds space where client’s feel heard and can tell their story.
