Bryce Thompson
One Precious Life
Bryce earned her Undergraduate degree in Nutrition at the University of Georgia and her Master’s degree in Nutrition at the University of Saint Joseph. Prior to coming to ACED, Bryce worked as a dietetic Intern at Walden in Connecticut, where she solidified her desire to work with eating disorder clients. She brings a wonderful sense of humor of sports nutrition and genuine honesty to the ACED family, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have her join our team.
Bryce brings many things to her role as Nutrition Coordinator. She has found that her love of reading has helped her connect to her clients by allowing them to explore their thoughts and feelings about food and weight using words and imagination. Her goal is to be personable and approachable in way that provides plenty of common ground for clients to connect. She is incredibly organized, assisting the team in creating strategic and creative systems to better meet the needs of both the ACED team and the clients we serve.
Among Bryce’s favorite things to do is travel to new places and try new things, such as engaging in local customs and cuisine. She has lived in several US cities. She sees herself as “pretty adventurous”, she has been skydiving, parasailing and ziplining and enjoys anything that broadens her horizons and challenges her experience. A self defined nerd, she can often be found at your local bookstore with her nose deep in a good read.
Bryce’s idea of a perfect Saturday depends on the weather. If it’s sunny and warm, you can find her outside relaxing by water of enjoying nature by herself or with friends and traveling to new places. If it’s cold or rainy she enjoys curling up in a favorite blanket or by a warm fire, reading a riveting novel or diving into a good film.
