Danielle Lewark
Always
Danielle brings a strong yet gentle grace to her position of compliance officer and while it is not seemingly glamorous, it is truly the foundation which maintains all we do and who we are at ACED. We are so grateful to have her join our team at a time when her expertise was greatly needed to support our growth and further establish all that is necessary to ensure a safe and well-grounded program for all those we care for, both staff and clients alike.
Danielle holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in health care administration and operations. She currently works in Compliance in Medical and Behavioral Health as well as a Quality Consultant, working on various Medical and Behavioral Health measures, earning multiple various awards for her participation in the excellence of patient care. She has had an extensive journey working as a care Manager, Assistant Compliance Officer, Operational Manager, Quality Consultant and Chief Compliance Officer for various organizations focused on Behavioral Health and primary care settings.
She began her career in the military as a US Navy Corpsman where she found a passion for organizational leadership and compliance and currently dedicates her career to Organizational leadership and strong advocacy of patients.
Danielle is not only a passionate leader in the work force but proud to be the mother of a strongly fierce daughter who has bravely survived anorexia and bipolar disorder. As a mother she shared her daughter’s journey with near fatal heart complications leading her family down the path of FBT treatment and a life of recovery from anorexia and is now herself a passionate advocate and mentor to other teens and young adults on the same journey.
As the parent of a child with an eating disorder, she believes she has a unique perspective in her role as compliance officer for an eating disorder program. We are beyond fortunate to have her expertise as both compliance officer and a loved one with experience in supporting and caring for someone with an eating disorder.
Her pride resides in her five children, “the best kiddos in the world.” She finds her childrens’ teen years to be her favorite time in parenting and finds the privilege of watching them grow into strong, independent individuals the greatest joy of her life. She finds solace in the quiet peace of her home with her children, her husband, and their menagerie of animals.
Danielle is unapologetically a big fan of all things regarding the magical World of Harry Potter. Her perfect Saturday consists of coffee on the patio with a good book and relaxing with her children and husband, a rare treat these days given their kids’ participation in numerous athletics, tournaments, and events throughout the year. But you can be sure she is the loudest on the sidelines cheering them on and revels in being, “THAT MOM.”
