Mallory was an unexpected gift this year and we could not be more grateful to have her on our team. Originally from Georgia, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Medical College of Georgia. Mallory went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama Birmingham and CNP shortly thereafter.  She worked 7 years in the Emergency Department and then as a dedicated ICU Nurse practitioner during COVID. Prior to ACED she was working as a Nurse Practitioner in the neurosurgery clinic, hospital and the operating room.

Although not having worked specifically in the eating disorder field, she has always had an interest in those struggling with eating disorders after her work in the Emergency Room and growing up as an athlete. She strives to provide comprehensive, patient centered care as she assists her patients with their treatment.

Mallory’s idea of a perfect Saturday is to explore the Birmingham Food scene with her husband and her Berne doodle. She loves to cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs and can often be found slamming a bag at Battle Republic, a local boxing gym.

For extra fun, she loves coloring and painting and is a big fan of arts and crafts. Her kindness and witty sense of humor bring a sense of joy and safety to all those lucky enough to get to know her. She takes pride in the people she surrounds herself with and promotes positivity and compassion in the most authentic ways imaginable. She is truly the best of folk.

Don’t sweat it, you’ve got this.
